Events

Announce meetings, workshops, fundraisers and open houses with their date, time, place and a link to register.

Fields

  • Title and address
  • Start and optional end, in a Canadian time zone
  • Place
  • Registration or details link
  • Summary and description

Editing and publishing

Create the event as a draft, preview it, and publish after review. Past events keep their pages.

On your website

An event list can appear on any page and shows upcoming events, soonest first. Each event has a page under /events (or /evenements in French), and events appear in site search.

Who can do what

Authors draft their own entries, editors draft and edit, and publishers publish. Site administrators turn the module on or off for a site. Which modules your organization can use is set by its agreement.

Limits

  • Registration happens in your own system: Plenvera links to it and does not take sign-ups or payments.
  • There are no recurring events: add each date as its own event.
